Newer is almost always better with Kucing Pink. Each release refreshes the server list, and servers are what actually play your episodes, so older builds buffer more as sources rotate. Still, there are valid reasons to look back: a rare device-specific crash, or curiosity about what changed. Here is the archive.
Version history
v2.5.6.4 (latest): current stable, ~27.85 MB, recommended for everyone. See the full v2.5.6.4 changelog.
v2.5.4.5: previous stable, ~27 MB. Fine as a fallback if v2.5.6.4 misbehaves on your device.
v2.5.4.2: ~27 MB, server list refresh.
v2.5.3.2: ~26 MB, player fixes.
v2.5.2.5: ~26 MB, subtitle improvements.
When an older build makes sense
Only two cases: the latest build crashes on your specific phone (rare, and worth reporting to us), or you are testing something deliberately. In every other case, the latest build's fresher server list wins.
How to switch versions safely
Download the build you want, then install it directly over your current install without uninstalling; Android keeps your My List and settings. If you uninstall first, that data is gone. New to sideloading? Our install guide covers the process screen by screen.
Downgrading without losing data
Install the older Kucing Pink APK directly over the current one. Android keeps your settings and My List as long as you do not uninstall first. Test one episode immediately; if the old build plays fine, keep it until a newer release fixes your issue.
Verifying the file you download
Only use archive files from sources you trust. Compare the file size with the listed size and scan every APK before installing. A Kucing Pink build that asks for extra permissions the newer one never needed is a red flag; delete it.
The screens and menus described here match the anime streaming APK available on the official Kucing Pink website.
