Server switching is Kucing Pink's superpower. Every episode can play from multiple sources, and when one buffers or dies, you jump to another without leaving the player. Most streaming problems in this app are really server problems, which makes this the single most useful skill to learn.
How to switch servers
While an episode plays, tap the video once to show the player controls. Find the server or source button, pick a different server from the list, and the stream reloads. If subtitles vanish after switching, re-enable Sub Indo; each server carries its own subtitle files, as our Sub Indo guide explains.
When to switch
Switch when a video buffers repeatedly, shows a black screen with audio, fails to load at all, or lacks subtitles you need. Do not reinstall the app or clear data for a dead stream; switching is faster and it is almost always the actual fix. It is step one in our buffering fix guide for good reason.
Picking the best server
There is no universally fastest server; speeds shift with load and time of day. Work down the list until one plays smoothly with your subtitles. If none work, the title itself may be temporarily down, try again later or pick another episode.
Server order that works
Start with the default server. If it buffers, move to the next one down the list rather than jumping randomly; the list is roughly ordered by reliability. Give each server ten seconds before judging it, since Kucing Pink streams need a moment to stabilize.
When every server fails
If all servers fail on one title but other titles play, the episode source is down, not your setup. Try a different episode or come back in a few hours. If nothing plays at all, check your connection first, then work through the Kucing Pink fixes guide.
All steps above were verified on the current official site build of this kawaii anime app.
